Was Googling for Suzuki GN parts this morning, I will need a supplier at some point & I looked at their website. Seemed to be good, but always good to hear others have used them & recommend them. Cheers gents.

Gotta agree, vincent black shadow or a brough superior SS100 if me 6 numbers came up, gorgeous, gorgeous machines. Ooooh yeah, that Superior was, well, 'superior'. Stunning bike. Does anyone have any dates of bike shows? Preferably of the 'retro' type, bit new to the bike scene. Although I'm technically a 'learner' I'd like to get to some shows this year, thanks.

Welcome to the forum.... Good first little bike....it'll stand you in good stead for your future projects. Cheers Wrighty, I pulled her out of the shed this morning an gave her a bit of a clean up. She's been a bit neglected as far as being cleaned goes but mechanically she seems to have been well kept which is the main thing.

Cheers Jawa, she looks a bit better in the photo's. Quite grubby and has a few dings, all stuff I'll remedy over the summer.

Evening gents, I've been registered for a while now but only really been reading threads & admiring what machines people have. Today I brought a Suzuki GN125, I had been using 'twist & go' scooters about 18 months ago. Always fancied a 'real' bike but always seemed to be some reason why it didn't happen. It's got T&T, running nicely enough but has some dings & dents here & there. The price was good considering what these usually sell for so I wasn't going to be too picky with it. Big thanks to my mate paul who rode it home for me in the drab weather. The plan is to tidy her up cosmetically, there's a few bits & bobs that are broken/missing which I'll look to replace. Wasn't sure if could post this in the readers rides bit as it's not exactly a retro machine, long term plan is to use this for a year or so then do the full test and look for something older to use on the weekends etc. For now I think this'll be perfect as a learner bike. First thing I need is the rubber sleeve that goes on the gear lever as mine is missing. (Just brought one on fleabay). Anyone know anywhere that does parts for these? Cheers. Very chuffed with this, the seller had 3 of these + a 125GS & something about this one stood out for some reason. Got my CBT booked for next Saturday so hopefully I'll be able to take her for a ride next weekend. ;D
