Time I put my small collection of Two Wheeled wonders up here. Not so much retro content now, but still enjoy. The current fleet: From Left To Right... 2002 SV650s - In Movistar Livery. Ex Riossi display bike. Tuned by JHS in Keynsham. Looks great, Handles great, and Shows the GSXR boys how it's done!!! 2005 GS500 - The Hack / Parts chaser. Ex riding school so bought for a song. This replaced my muched loved (and ridden) Superdream. Modifications so far are - Fly screen, Heated grips, and fairy lights. 1962 Triumph T20 Tiger Cub - The most recent addition to the fleet. I got a brit bike itch and this scraches it... when it runs. Since buying it as a runner 8 months ago, it has done 200 miles, had a total engine rebuild, replacement cylinder head, wheel bearings, handle bars, brakes. It still needs new electrics... but the noise gets me every time. In action

To add some retro contect here is an ex-member of the fleet... a 1982 Honda CB250NbD Superdream Deluxe.. My third Superdream to date, I don't have piccies of the others. Thi is it a few months after I bought it, taking pride of place at Builth Well Motorcycle show... a year or so later, an accident with a dog and being ridden had taken its toll, so this happened Followed by, Whilst the frame was tarted up... The addition of a new exhaust to replace the rotten Micron and we get Was finally sold when the GS came up. Sad day. But the new owner loves it....

Nice little selection - Liking the SV..... ;D
Owned lots of 250's back in the 80's as you could pick them up for nothing when the 125 law came in for learners, the Superdream was one of the few I never got round to though....

Triumph Trash update: The triumph has had issues with the clutch and front brake cables binding up. This was due to the handlebars being of a B10 BSA... Dont ask why.... Anyhow, a new set of handlebars, levers and cables and all is much better. Whilst there it was decided that fitting a choke was a good idea. Already had a slider ans a lever, so just a cable and finding the correct top for the carb. The results are: Side: Front: New lever shineyness.... Have also found the correct exhaust and a new wiring loom.... more tasks!!!

More Trash!!! Scooter Trash this time.... Meet the Italjet Millenium. My girlfriends new scoot. So far it's had the headstock tightened, the front brake cleaned and re-paddded and L plates added.... Have found working on a scoot a mare, too many covers!!!! Oh well, it's back together again and ready for a ride. Will be glad to see it out it's HUGE, bigger than any of my bikes.

UPDATES Not been on here for a while, but things have moved apace in the Garage. Triumph Trash: All going well since the last update. Managed to find a rare as rocking horse poo bikini fairing in the correct(ish) colour. Leaving it: And then the trouble started. Riding along and the a sudden loss of power and manic knocking gave a clue that somthing wasn't well at all. Removal of the sump plug was ominous... The glitter is steel..... off of Not good. Glad i stopped when I did. Luckily the barrel was fine and a quick strip down and rebuild with a new piston was all that was required. Fireed the bike back up for the first time and it knocked and banged as good as before DARN!!! Turned out to be fractured point spring. Dammed Chinese copies. All good now. Managed to nip the piston once... muppet riding, but other than that, all ok. Did 100 miles last sunday.... a long way on a cub!! Scooter Trash: Oh boy. Have had a manic phone call from the GF, "Help! The scooter has broken" Found her and it at the local pub happily having a coffee. The upshot was the plug cap had failed and dropped off of the spark plug. The speedo drive rotted off... had to prop the whole scoot off of the deck and grind a new slot in the wheel.

Update! Fairly quiet month this month. Have been happily riding and tending to the fleet. GS Trash: New brakes. The old ones were a little tired!!! and an oil change, so routine stuff. Triumph Trash: Managed to stay together this month.... almost. Fuel tank came loose and caused all sorts of issues, but not before the bike did a 100 mile run... yes 100 mile in one day without fault!!! Amazing. The strain of reliability proved too much for the carb float in the end. It decided to sink below the surfae and cause fuel to piss eveywhere and the bike to cut out a few days ago. Had to ride home regulating the fuel with the fuel tap..... Jon W Trash! The rider got a treat instead this time. A day at Ron Haslam Race school. Great fun thrashing around Silverstone on CBR600Rs'. Instruction was excellent and I've never been so fast!! Next on the agenda... Scooter MoT... Gulp!

I always go for the goldfren HH pad off ebay, last three times as long as basic pads at half the price. I'm jealous of you going to a proper race school.

Way Rom Haslam, but didn't get to meet him. Another guy in the group I was in had an off and Ron came up to check he was ok. He said Rom was a very genuine kind'a guy. No heirs or graces. He was busy running the school the whole time. Anyhow. A Triumph Trash update: Hade a lovely run to Lydney in the forest of dean with the Bath Classic MCC.... great bunch. stopped at a pub for lunch, came back out a found this next to the Cub: A pre-unit (circa 1960) T120 Bonneville. Couldn't resist the piccie. Wonderful machine and I want! Just need to rob a bank to pay for it!! Was the sunniest bit of the day.... got very wet on the way home. At least the electrics are waterproof!!!!

Ron and his brother Phil used to be honorary presidents of our bike club 'Fosse Freewheelers' back in the 70's, met them both there. Phil died in 74 at Olivers Mount in a tragic accident. Both extremely top blokes. PS Love the Cub, had a couple of them myself including a pre 65 trials iron that I used to have as a toy. Nice one feller
