A mate of mine is gonna make this for me, friends with CNC machines are keepers it's a gearchange lever btw, the aftermarket foot pegs are in a different place compared to the original so it's uncomfortable to reach the gear change lever.

absolutely low-slung, nothing wrong with underseat pipes but unless your willing to spend alot of time/money it's hard to get the connecting secondary pipes to look good.

Even if it's a lowly 2ma, it be worth badgering him some more, old two strokes are definitely worth getting, simple to understand and repair when they stop and massive fun when they go.

Bought this 3ma about a month ago and managed to pick it up last week and this week i actually did some thing to it! don't like it when people chopped up the rear panels like this, not my style. rebar. damn farmers. A suprise, a fully functioning air filter. Question: Is this part of VAJ? where is the big pipe coming out the top supposed to connect to? it's just flapping around. (air in for the VAJ, supposed to be connected to airbox, no biggie) ran out of paint SP Tadao 'Jackals worth twice what i paid for the bike. it actually ran on this swill the all important 'sit on it and make noises' part Plans are a simple restore and improve, engine sounds sweet, pistons are not scored from what i can see up the exhaust, haven't run it for long because it's running on premix (with the pump still running and attached!) also no oil in the gearbox and the although it idles fine it's stalls when you try to take off (carbs need cleaning). This is how you do a classic appreciating bike, yamaha only made this bike for two years, rare and fast

A solo goldwing would suit my fat friend, but now in a rare firing of brain synapses he's trying to give back the goldwing, but the previous owner wants to swap him a 73 cb250 and a cb750/4. I think he actually believe's he can service and repair a 30 year old bike, A fool and his money....

For a bobber like the one one above it would be better to start with something a bit less cruiser like, say a gn125 (dead slow i know) and then fit it's brothers 18" wheels (gs125) fit some fatter tyres cut down a the seat, exhaust and rear mud guard, et voila.

I have had an bros (400) and i still own my rg125, rg is on on par with the rs125 but the aprilia has the edge on power for f' all difference in price/reliableness (spell checker came up with that is it even a word?). The bros how ever i hated with a passion, tubby, gutless, brake less and when i tried to get a move on through the bends all you got on entering a corner was rear end chatter, massily heavy single sided swingarm. Americans think they handle nice.
