thought i'd share... bought this in a box in bits for 100 quid, with new exhausts, c&s and few other bits. had been stood with its guts out for about 18 months. still not sure what direction to go with it, but decided whatever that i'd chop the back down. opinions as to what way to go with it next greatfully received. i'm thinking take the back down even more, possibly a cafe seat and a pair of carbon cans...

absolutely low-slung, nothing wrong with underseat pipes but unless your willing to spend alot of time/money it's hard to get the connecting secondary pipes to look good.

latest work... won a pair of battered blue flames off ebay so set about ditching the trumpets. here's a rough fit of one side so far: the seat is still a little longer than that, i've potatoed it down a bit to show how it will look. opinions greatfully received.

I though you meant down not short, you'll have a wet arse with that lol i think i'll lower the rear as well tbh. i put the jackup kit on it a while back but i have to put new shocks on it soon anyway. think when i do i'll take the blocks out and pul the front legs through instead, get the whole bike closer to the ground a bit.

Well if i had that bike i'd go cafe racer. Much like this bike but with half the effort he had to go through since you/I would only have to fit clip-ons and make up a seat. clip-ons would visually lower the front end a lot more make compact and beefy sorta, go well with the tank line, but possibly smasing your fingers into the tank when you turn. What sorta look do you like? And yeah your exhaust pipes just there are excellent!

found one. it just didnt suit them, no matter which way i fitted or mounted them unfortunately. the old cb750s make the ultimate cafe bike imho but the ones like mine are a bit more tricky to style.
