thanks guys not a lot of progress to report apart from the rear lights are done and mounted ,wiring is finished and fresh shocks are on (thanks wrighty:))finished deseaming the exhaust, moved the side stand ,finished the battery box,new rubber on the rear,ported the barrel and had it skimmed by 10 thou,reshaped the combustion chamber so the flame path is smoother and started to make a manifold for a minuki flatslide30mm carb(standard is 22mm),made a seat pan for 2 as grace wants a go on the back and the right hand fork seal has started weaping a bit,bit of a pisser as they were a new set i must have nicked it putting it in:( pics later........

oooh engine work...thats new. Be good to see it with your seat on. oh and carbs are 32mm.

Had to look twice as i saw your message.....oooh perspex side windows, they look good. Looking at the standard cases did you have to cut the windows out, and how do you seal them? ? Yeah really nice bike, really is coming on.

Cut the hole out with a hole saw. Then cut the perspex out 1/2 inch bigger. Cut a gasket out from a piece of rubberised cork and then sick it all together with blutac. (Or drill and tap for M6 Dome Heads).
