picked this up for twenty quid, been left outside for 14 years so a little seized/negelected :'(but it looked at me so a quick trailer ride and its home bloody spiders in everywhere and green slime rules ,lots of rust and flaking chrome,a bit of diesel down the plug hole and a tentative kick and it turned over ;D some fat idiot fiddling(me) grace gives it the once over the strip down begins ,loads of plus gas and 1 13mm spanner and half an hour later the bare frame with some strengthening plates welded in ,all redundant brackets chopped off(can you tell where this is going ?) more to follow ......braced swinging arm content.....

spent last night polishing the crank cases (thanks grace for the elbow power) rebuilt the motor this morning ,finished the frame prep and painted it had to put the engine in cut the seat base up and had a play ,i think ill use the old side panels as the seat hump/battery storage, what do you think ?its sat a bit high at the moment so a bit of chop chop and see how it looks ......

Think the height is fine, the rear curve/line doesn't match the tank is the problem. Maybe when you put a brake light and plate holder there it could lengthen the line and balance the look?

Cant fault you on your rate of work....really progressing quickly and looking good.
I like the idea of using the side panels for seat hump, i would never have thought of that. And i do think its well suited.

I turned down 2 x CZ 125's on account of the transit having two Cossack sidecar outfits in it already! AND, they were free!! He offered them to me after I drove to Edinburgh to collect the Cossacks. Wish I'd gone back down again.

Quick work mate Not so sure about the seat arrangement, I think a trip to an auto jumble might be the best way to sort out your seat woes, although I think I have a couple of fibreglass race seats in my storage container, but as I have only set foot in there twice in the last three years and have a failing memory.............
