I like them too, very easy to upgrade with later wheels/brakes/suspension. i believe the fj owners club is very helpful with what fits where.
wanted a xjr1200 myself.

in that case, how the engine is configured makes no difference, you should have the space to make either setup fit. you'll need the biggest then, aprilla mana, 850 twin, cvt, motocycle. bit new tho, perhaps a little too rare and pricey. the burgman 650 and the honda silver wing 600, have been around since the mid-naughtys, them's the best option. At feck all HP i hope your car is extremely light + aerodynamic.

tons of biggies out there, are you looking for a wheel/gearbox/engine combo or just the gearbox and engine? the yamaha T-MAX is the latter the burgman 400 is the biggest former vaguely remember some blub about a gilera 850cc twin auto, no time to google, the tv is calling me. what plan, do tell?

try a scrappy for rxs100 bit's for the clutch, lots of the small yamahas have the same worm gear and push rod setup, don't miss out on the ball bearing that goes with the rod, it very easily missed. i see no reason why it wouldn't have indicators, again probably very generic period ones too.

Engine looks familiar to me, can't place it exactly, what parts exactly are you looking for? parts aren't a problem by the way, the ag100 is still built brand new in new zealand. heard bucket racers taking about how totally unsuitable they were for racing.

but he wants to cruise at 80? no harleys like doing that. ;D
hornet/bandit/fazer best first bikes, touring, track days, poping to the shops no bother. personally big cruisers can be fun (had a vn1500 for a day, what a tractor!) but a bit of a hand full, fug all brakes, grip or anything remotely resembling chassis dynamics, can turn those "oh s**t!" moments into blacked out in terror moments. these three are your not your only choice, some great stuff out there, like a honda bros 650, africa twin/transalp, tdm 850, trx850, srx660, suzuki goose, gs1200ss, jez i better get to sleep or i'm never getting up for work.
I'm also heading for the MCN show, decided to go yet Dungbug? only 4 weeks to go
