First post,so be gentle! Whats the largest cc moped or other engine that is 'twist and go' ? 150cc?/200cc? watercooled?/ aircooled? Im looking for something to power a possible new project,so are there any that are easily available .Would prefer something that can be reasonably easily obtained as a whole bike.

Suzuki do the Burgman which is a 400cc, I know Honda do a 250cc scoot as well............Pretty sure one of the Italian manufacturers have a 500cc+ thing as well.

tons of biggies out there, are you looking for a wheel/gearbox/engine combo or just the gearbox and engine? the yamaha T-MAX is the latter the burgman 400 is the biggest former vaguely remember some blub about a gilera 850cc twin auto, no time to google, the tv is calling me. what plan, do tell?

in that case, how the engine is configured makes no difference, you should have the space to make either setup fit. you'll need the biggest then, aprilla mana, 850 twin, cvt, motocycle. bit new tho, perhaps a little too rare and pricey. the burgman 650 and the honda silver wing 600, have been around since the mid-naughtys, them's the best option. At feck all HP i hope your car is extremely light + aerodynamic.

I really need something complete,so that I can easily extend the wiring etc. I wouldnt know where to start with just an engine TBH! By the looks of things it wont be cheap,so I might have to abandon the idea.

Both Honda and BMW do 650cc Scooters. The Honda has been about a while.
