..........First 'off' today. Left work early due to the weather, all had gone well...Strangely most cars given me plenty of space and generally being patient, just turned to pull into my road and down she went. Was crawling along in 2nd gear but she went anyway, small graze on the casing and bar end has lost a bit of paint (now matches the other side in both respects). Twisted my ankle a bit but hauled the bike back up and continued home.

Ouch, not good. Get yourself rested and warmed up. Hopefully the ankle isn't too sore.

Thanks, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything now. ;D Yeah, was bugger all snow when I left & within a couple of hours the roads were shite. Literally every turn and the back was sliding out, I'd managed alright and then dropped the dam bike about 15ft from my driveway.............Oh & nice of the ar*ehole in the car behind to sit and watch me picking up a 190kg bike on compacted snow on my tod after an off

Sorry to hear about the off,at least it was a slow one. I remember a long time back, laying in the middle of a T junction after a moron pulled out straight in front of me.Bike smashed to bits, broken arm and leg cut to shreds, cars driving around me to get past!!So not surprised that the guy behind you didn't offer to help. On the plus side though I have had so many bikers stop to offer help over the years when I have been broken down. Even to the extent of one guy going all the way home to pick up a petrol can, going to the petrol station and coming back to me on the off chance that I had run out of petrol when he saw me pushing my bike down the road, which I had,and he wouldn't take any money either.I will always remember that one and always stop if I see a bike in trouble. Hope you and the bike are ok.

Cheers fella, you always 'hope' that a driver would offer help.....Not always the case. Nevermind, no harm done. Just itching to get back on on Monday.........Although the Mrs isn't too keen due to the conditions. ;D
