They seem pretty thin on the ground, theres earlier ones about, and loads of later ones, but hardly any of these. Ive seen one other, went on ebay a day or so ago. Listed as needing work, 500 odd BIN, sold in like an hour or something.
Everyone thinks im nuts buying this, but i dont see it as that big a deal. Switchgear, lights, wheel, brakes, tyres, wiring and a few bits n bobs and it would be good to go.
Loom is the trickiest part, with a loom i think i could have it running in about an hour. Shouldnt be too hard to make one though (i build amplifiers as a hobby) just need to get the diagrams. Ill have to solder everything up, not messing around with all the proper multi connectors!
But, our car has just sold on ebay so providing he actualy turns up and hands over the money, i think ill be buying the CB750 i mentioned.
Shame, i was looking forward to tackling this, but cant afford 2 projects.

this is one of my faves. Might have to invest in a tail unit and bang some knee indents in

Looks like this is now a dead thread. CB750 wins.
However, the DT is going to my wifes uncle in PX for the cb750 as he wants to play with it and rebuild it so this thread may still get the odd update.

DVLA have cashed the cheque for the V5 so it looks like this bike will be resurected!!! Not by me unfortunately, but it will get built to a high standard

Got a letter today, seems they need to inspect the bike. They have passed my details on and the relevant people will be in touch. They will issue a V5 though, just needs inspecting first. I'll update when anything changes, its interesting to see where this goes

If it turns out those front forks are RXS 100 ones... and the chrome is good i might be in the market for those, as im still undecided as to continue with fitting the Suzuki back wheel to match the current front end on her... or to source original RXS forks and a drum brake front wheel. so if you wanna get shot of those forks and if terra can confirm they are RXS items... well be some money towards sourcing other replacements for your wee bike.
