Hi there, my names Rich and I'm from South London, but at at uni in Lincoln Ive wanted a bike for a while and want to make the plunge now! What 125cc bikes can people recommend for learning on at around the £500 price mark? I like 80s/90s stuff such as the Honda CB/CG, Honda H100, Kawasaki Kh125 etc Ive never ridden a bike before, but I do have a Honda PC50 project on the go at the moment (I don't plan on ever using this though, not the coolest bike out there ) Before I started uni I had a 1992 Polo and Ive recently been given a 1998 Astra estate to fix up and use when I can afford the insurance! Hi Rich, welcome to RR. Honda CG is a descent little bike to start out with, be cheaper to run than the Astra too.

my first 'proper' bike was a yamaha rxs 100 - well recommended. would keep up with my mate's derestricted nsr125 (*for a bit, anyway!) in the classic head on the clocks arse in the air stance...
