Thought I'd be polite and add a quick intro...
Displaced Yorkshire man living in the Smoke and building bikes in my spare time in my bedroom (2nd floor flat).
Yep, I'm single, lol. I was told to choose her or the bike and to the surprise of both of us I chose the bike. What a dickhead (she was cute dammit
).
Luckily in the last week I've managed to start renting a garage (for about the same amount my mortgage was in Wakefield) and moved most of the crap out of my bedroom.
Mainly interested in 70/80's Japanese twins but like any bikes really that are still possible to work on yourself, not modern sports bikes. I like modding the bikes a bit and look to Bratstyle, Wrenchmonkee, Garage Co, Deus Ex etc styles for inspiration.
Currently just finishing up a Yammie XS400 and just started messing around with a Puch Maxi for a bit of a laugh.
Current bikes are:
Yamaha XS400
Puch Maxi N
Norton ES2
Honda Superdream (not sure why)
Suzuki Savage (waiting for a Ryca style cafe mod)
Just an enthusiastic amateur builder really but I will help where I can on the forum.
