Mate love this looks sweet!!!!
Just a quick question did you strip your wheels before you painted them??
The wheels on my Tomos are quite rusty so would benefit from a re-paint
Cheers Adrian

Well where does time go! in true project form this got shelved while I sorted a few other things ...Not forgotten as its been sat next to the wifes new dining room table for over 9 months now so a big thumbs up to an understanding Mrs ..Just ordered some more parts from Martin at YPVspares who has a new webshop here www.ypvspares.com/ so anyone looking for any parts for puch/tomos etc try him..Hopefuly will have more new pics in a few weeks when I once again attempt to get the Pocket-rocket-puch finished and running..Also a big thanks to Simmo who never lost faith and supplied me with some choice one off bits..Cheers Bro! ..Also thanks to all the people on the board who took the time to follow and post ,sorry the thread went dead but back now and will check back more often!

And its still not finished ! In my defence I have been sorting an 87 Tomos which is now ready for use and changed some things about the Puch.. it was never going to be reliable on the standard bushed crank so did what I should have done initialy and fitted a Rito race crank with new bearings and seals Also put a high comp head on,modified the Bing to run low end with bigger main jet, fitted a Proma Circuit pipe,re-geared 17 front 42 rear, made a sprocket cover, fitted new levers and Lucito twist grip.. removed chrome brace (just was not doing it) and now waiting for custom front and another shorter rear guard.I am sorting a bracket for the rear light to move it inwards and under the seat unit and not happy at using it on busy roads with no brake light so going to go 12 volt lighting so I can fit one, not enough watts left in the early 6 V setup to run one. So anyway here is a pic of how it stands at the moment.. still have other things to do , would like to fit new chrome rims and change colour back to original purple

The Tomos to show I aint been totaly idle.. 87 A3 with A35 engine & wheels, 44mm Kit (65cc) cranked inlet,15/15 dellorto SHA carb, cut down superbike bars,27F 22R sprockets and tecno boss pipe.. far less radical than the puch but with everyday use in mind !

with regards to your manifold, rather than having the sharp 90degree elbow, a smooth 90degree bend would flow better, there is of course nothing that you cant move it somewhere else on a custom manifold -bike looks good nontheless
