that inlet manifold needs a bit of work(that 90 bend has to be mucking up the gas flow) apart from that what a ace idea, keep going iwant a go when its done:)

Unfortunately there is not much to be done with the manifold, the motor does sit with the cylinder facing front and many use a manifold turned to allow the carb to face the front but again it has the 90 degree in it.At present my budget will not stretch to a race crank and am still on the standard one which only has bush type small and big end and not roller type so have to be a bit conservative with revs at the moment. This is what you can get them to do !

Cheers Jawathemutt..may just take you up on that.Have a spare inlet manifold you could work from..Carb wise the amal carb would be a little to big with what I am running..Next project on the cards is an old Skoda Pickup rat look to stick the Puch on,and still got thinks to do on my Skoda Estelle 105 daily runner ..so Once up and running the Puch or Puchati as its now being called (got some 916 footrest hangers to put on it) will have to stay as is for a while..Just ordered a chrome box section swingarm in a vain attempt to try to fit some 2.75x17 metzeler tyres I found at work but think I will have to force me wallet open and get some smaller rubber.. Me 105 estelle ..
