bloody ouch :'(yesterday while playing with the grinder a bit of red hot shite hit me on the cheek then bounced in my left eye :'(this was while wearing a full face sheild and glasses!4 long hours up the local AnE ,ive got a hole in my cornea that feels like a house brick in my eye:'(bloody sore ,weeping and stuck shut with a tube of glue the hospital gave me banned from the workshop till better :'(not very happy,still could have been worse, wear your goggles ,trust me !

ah feck dude , s**t hope gets better ,, picked up that cz today ,, will get a pic up when i can cant upload for some reason ,, strange ,, if pm your email al send you it that way ,, its an earlier model with a teardrop type tank ,, great for a cafe ,, but is a genuine cz tank ,, not the sqaure box coffin type ,, bit like an early cd200tank ,,

sorry to hear that...i do feel slightly responsible for the accident as it was the old xj that caused it. I had a similar accident that put me out of work for nearly a year...its not good. Quality eye protection is a must.......accidents will happen its about cutting the risks down. Hope you recover quickly.

a couple of tips for safety in the shed always make sure you have a clear escape route as when something goes wrong the last thing you need, is to trip and injure yourself more have someone in earshot or a mobile phone handy as being stuck and waiting hours to be found isnt fun have a fire extinguisher in easy reach as a few grinding/welding sparks can soon tun into a major disaster if you use oil to soak up spilt oil be aware it can spontaneously combust ttfn glenn
