GS850 GT, 1980. US import with just 26000 miles on the clock (genuine 15000 miles when I bought it in 2004). Excellent condition with original 4 into 2 exhaust and airbox. Some sensible upgrades fitted - braided brake lines, luggage rack, engine bars, Hagon front springs and gaiters, Koni rear shocks, Dyna electronic ignition, GSX coils and upgraded reg/rec. New battery and tyres. MOT has just expired. Will put a new MOT on for the new owner. A great bike for long distances and touring - plenty of space for luggage and the seat is very comfortable. Mechanically, she is as good as new (there was absolutely zero wear on pistons, rings, cylinder bore and bearings when cylinder head gasket was changed about 18 months ago). No rust anywhere although the right side exhaust header has some pitting. These bikes have a great reputation for durability and I know several owners that have clocked up well over 150,000 miles without any mechanical problems. Runs on standard unleaded petrol and does around 50 - 55 mpg normally, 60 - 65 on a run. I am selling due to lack of garage space. Looking for £875 or near offer. Location : Somerset. Attachments:
