Howdodee
Well here's me staying dry behind the screen of the Ural chair
Been riding bikes since 12/13. First ride was pillion on a old RM250 crosser down the sewer bank in Thamesmead (scary fast=hooked for life) followed by first solo ride on a Honda Melody owned by a mate which we all rode round the streets of Plumstead shedding bodywork to make it go faster. First proper clutch and gears was another RM this time an 80 round a patch of grass by the bus garage with occasional rips up the underpass to stop it oiling up.
Got into off-road and started racing enduros as soon as I was old enough to enter and still do them now, racing is the best way to improve as you push yourself more and I like that feeling you get when you finish an enduro, it's like every finish is a win.
Got legal on the road at 16 with a Kawasaki AR50/80 Micron pipe too, went like stink till it inevitably blew up.
Had many bikes over the years and still own 10 or so now in various states ofdisrepair.
Current road bike is a CB500 which laps up all the abuse thrown it's way with minimal fuss. Can't rate the CB enough, it's a great bike. I've owned better/faster/more sexy machines but it handles great and 120's fine in the real world. If money were no object I'd have Triumph speed or street triple but I doubt I'd put knoblies on that and race it up the beach like the Honda.
I co own the Ural with the 2 mates in the pic and I've a TDR250 in storage I'll never part with. Also have plans for the Montessa trials bike, just need to find all the bits first.
That's enough from me, be careful out there.
