Quick post to say hello, saw the link on retro-rides and figured I'd sign up here too.. Finally got the time & money together, did the DAS licence in march last year and found myself one of the bikes i've always wanted: Kawasaki GPZ900rA2 (i'm not really the right size for small bikes ) Had her 18 months and sofar I've had to strip the engine top-end down for a valve seat re-grind and new valves after the engine grenaded itself during a dyno-tuning session (single valve adjuster locknut wound itself out and a collet wandered off across the engine) Running spec at the moment is: - 4-1 Vance & Hines exhaust (slightly loud) - stage3 Dynojet - custom advanced ignition timing plate - k&n pod filters - coils & plug leads replaced with zx10r stickcoils on home-made loom - GPz A7 front end (thicker forks, twin-pot brakes, bigger disks, 17inch front wheel) - GPz A7 front mudguard, mirrors & corbin single seat Currently off the road at the moment, failed mot on lower rear suspension bearing play, but the new bearings have arrived this week, just have to figure out how to replace them now (any advice greatfully recieved!) so yeah, Hi

Nice bike stick it up in the bikes section, as to your bearing most of the time there is just a seal each side and the needle rollers should pop out, not quite sure what setup your kawa has but good luck!

Hello Always like these GPZ 9's, great looking bikes. If those bearings are needle rollers then you can push them out with a socket and press or if not available then a vice may surfice . Just make sure the socket fits the bearing well as they damage easy. Like TR says, put a thread in the bikes section.
