I received some bad news today, my instructor and friend was killed riding his Ninja last night. No other vehicle involved, still not sure how it happened. To say I'm gutted is an understatement, the world has lost a great guy.
Please do take care out there & ride safe.

The local rag reported it, the po po are asking for witnesses and trying to trace a Jag & a 'grey car' so it's looking like there was other vehicles involved. Will be heading over to the scene tomorrow to lay some flowers down, still not sunk yet.

Had the service yesterday, after a deluge of rain which soaked everyone the rain stopped for the ride to the crem. The Police closed the roads for the precession (which I thought was descent of them), nice service with a lot of happy stories & jokes being told at the do afterwards. I reckon there was close to 200 bikes there, the Hearse pulled into the training school where he taught (most who were there) and we had a minute of noise......Never heard anything like it, even with my lid on it was deafening. Hearse then headed towards the crem for the service, then back to the school for beer, food a happy reflection. Emotional day but strangely nice, someone was taking photo's of the precession. That's me on the T'Cat sitting behind to very noisey Gixxers.
