hi, i'm thinking of getting back on 2 wheels for my daily, last time was when i was 16-17yrs old.(around 1988-scooter) thinking of getting a 125 twist and go scooter with retro styling, do i have to take a cbt? i've no idea. full car license gained around 1989-90.

Hi Chris, with your license you can ride a 50cc. If you want to ride a 125cc then you'll need to do a CBT, CBT will expire after 2 years so you'll need to re-do it or have passed the theory & Mod 1 + 2. HTH.

can you do cbt on your own bike? You can providing it's got tax, MOT, insurance & has an L plate on the front & back.

Should save a few quid if you use your own bike as the schools usually add the cost of bike hire into the price.
