Hi guys. So before I have finished the FZR I have got another project. It has 90% of parts. Have some pictures. This was as it was in a friends shed Pic with the carbs on, tight in there. Will get some more pics when I work on it. Some more info. Triumph t140 OIF ard tail frame. Welded Standard front shocks with disc brake Standard tank Ducati monster 600m engine. Carb version Nice leather seat Complete wiring loom for engine. I can't remember what the rear wheel is. Some 750cc bike. Now all I have to do it mount the engine. And build a bike

Oooh! I'm liking the potential of that! What's the plan for the frame? Will there be front downtubes at all or can the motor be a stressed member? I know it would be a lot of hard work but is it possible to have the carb intakes coming up through the tank, finishing with two small K&N pancake-style filters on top? What I mean is cutting holes top and bottom, inserting steel tubes and welding the tubes in. (In my head, it looks great - in reality, it may differ a great deal!) :-)

Lots of potential there, had it been in the shed for long before you got it?

Hi guys. The frame will be a stressed member with a mount coming up between the carbs. And yeh it was sitting in a mates shed for a while and the engine needs a a refurb. Nothing major lol. As said. Lots of potential.

Oh and the tank idea sounds cool in theory. In reality I'm not sure lol.

Oh and the tank idea sounds cool in theory. In reality I'm not sure lol. It's been done lots of times. Recently MZ had it on their Mastiff trailies and Buell used it (in the swing arm!!!) on the Lightning series of bikes. One of the best ones I was was a Brough Superior and sidecar, where the frame of the sidecar acted as a reserve petrol tank.... not dodgy for the passenger at all.....

Got in 5 or so hours just doing various jobs. Cleaned of some of the crap paint. Removed the belt covers to check the belts. Need to be changed. Turned over the engine and all moves freely. Removed the desmodronic covers and one was difficult so had to drill of the heads of the bolts. Sorted now. Cleaned some grease etc of the block and it generally looks good. Then focused on the seat and sorting the mountings. Pics can explain it . Truly captive nut Made this small braket to weld to the frame. Chuffed with it And turns out like this on the bike.
