For Sale Rare Candy Lime Green 1972 Kawaski Triple 2 stroke H1D 500 Tax Exempt (Sprayed by Phil The Paint Weaver Kawasaki Triples Club)
H1E rubber mounted engine that has been completely stripped & rebuilt this year 2012 by Mark Saveryn Engineering only because it was jumping out 2nd gear. Mark rebuilt it with new seals & refurbished gearbox parts. The heads have been milled to except neoprene ring seals to replace the copper gaskets.
Engine casings, heads & barrels have been vapour blasted, all other engine items re-polished! Apart from the engine & wiring loom all other parts are original H1D items.
The bike is a European/UK spec & was imported from Italy by a friend in 2000.
I did a nut & bolt rebuild & renewed all the swinging arm, wheels & headrace bearings & had the frame, swinging arm and all other black items stove enamelled in satin & matt black.
I have the certificate Rick Brett did for me for proof of year & manufacture on 14/12/2002. Date of manufacture is October 1972. I got it registered in Maidstone Kent with a Kent registration PKE ###L on 6th February 2004 and have owned the bike 11 years.
The bike is mot’d till June 2012 & would fly through another anyway & has a new tax exempt disc till March 2013. Just noticed in the photos the seat trim is missing I do have it & will fit it back on  New front & rear tyres and recent chain & sprockets
It’s been a brilliant bike, has never let me down & will be sadly missed; however I am looking to purchase a MK2 or MK1 Ford Zephyr or Zodiac with or without engine if you have one I may be up for a deal if it’s in fair condition. (want to go the small block Ford route)
If I decide to sell my bike I am looking at £3800 ono which compares well with others I have seen advertised.
If you have any questions or want to come and have a look I am in Gillingham Kent. Contact Deryck Hart AKA Delboy Tel: 07875 738204 or email delboytitco@yahoo.co.uk
