This is probably an obvious question, I need to replace the chain & sprockets on the GN. I've been on Wemoto's site an they list a chain & sprocket set, but also sprockets with more/less teeth. I'm assuming the difference in the number of teeth can give more speed(?) Can someone explain the differences or am I better just fitting the same configuration it had when it left the factory? Thanks in advance.

not really gonna work, you just plain need more bhp to get more speed (or better aerodynamics) you could get a rear sprocket with one tooth less and that would increase the potential top speed. You'll only ever reach the redline downhill and be just slower every where else. it may work if your a ridiculous skinny fellow. on the other hand if you add teeth to the rear sprocket you would get much better acceleration, which would be handy if you were off road and never likely to reach 45mph. or a fat bugger. Unless you've found more bhp then a standard GN or are radically modding it (different size rear wheel) just go with the stock setup.

Cheers Terra, figured as much. I'm just shy of 6ft & around 13st so hardly worth doing. Standard chain & sprocket it is then. ;D
