Well, bought this yesterday, had it in the shed today to clean the carb out, genreally tidy up and service. Also removed machine gun carry case and subframe from rear right hand side. Really! It's a 1995 Harley Davidson MT350, they took over the M.O.D contract from Armstrong, a British company that somewhat lives on in CCM. It uses a Rotax 500 single, sleeved down to 350 in this model, but there was also a MT500 that had the 500, and all Rotax engines from this series bolt straight in, so a 604cc single swap is easy enough. CCM/Aprillia also used this range of engines I believe. It got Ohlins adjustable rear shocks, Marzocchi forks, Grimeca 4 pot calipers front and rear (weirldy massive rear disc have caught me out a few times already!) Has electric start and a left foot kicker ( I am left handed so great for me). Oil in frame, blackout switch, huge front panniers and enough strengthening to allow it to be dropped form a helicopter, many have been appartently. You can still buy them direct from MOD auctions, but there is often sand in the carb, and everywhere else!
