Not an overly technical question, just after a bit of advice.
I've noticed that the brake lever on the handle bar of the GN has the 'ball' bit missing on the end, do I need to replace this for MOT reasons or would it pass/be an advisory? I't's literallyu th 'ball' part that's snapped off, the rest of the lever is fine. Thanks.

no MOT/NCT for bikes over here, so i can't help you on that point but the ball is there to stop yourself being accidentally stabbed by you own handle bar in a fall, what i do is file the end of the level flat, its not as good as a new lever but it might just be enough to make it safe for an MOT?

It's quite a 'clean' break already, I'll have a look around & see if I can get a new lever. Now that you mention the sharpness side of it I guess it would be a failure. Cheers.
