Well guys i have just picked up a 1978 Yamaha RS 125 DX for a measily £102 off the bay ;D She needs alot of work but the engine runs and doesnt sound too bad either.. anyways here she is along side the Yamaha RXS100 and Peugeot Elyseo 100...  Attachments:

Davey, beaut is not quite accurate as none of the electrics work due to a hacked harness, tyres are original Avons lol and wont stay inflated, front brake is binding, and cosmetically she is rough around the edges, ignition has been screwdrivered at some stage too... however she is a solid old girl and with some TLC and hours spent on the wiring harness i maybe able to get everything working... undecided what to do in all honesty... i might strip her and rebuild in my own time so she is a goodun or just get her sorted and use her... i do still like the little RXS though so will decide when the time comes... unless i keep em both like .. If anyone knows anything about these old bikes get in touch as i may need assistance  ) |
