Very tidy bike mate I had a poster of the Candy Emerald Green Z650B1 on my bedroom wall for years as a teenager.

Gorgeous..... 'The Poor mans Z1' I seem to remember it being refered to at the time, even though it was only very marginally slower and handled a little better than it's bigger brother!.

I still think the proportions of the Z650 are a lot nicer than the 900/1000 to this day. I had a 650B2 as a project back in 1993. Never completed it and sold it on at a loss.

Random question..... Could you tell me the width of your front mudgard, or the distance between the forks?..... might help me with my little project. Thanks.

5 inches between the fork mount faces. Thanks... I'm looking for a chrome front mudguard for my Zeph but cant find anything either new or aftermarket (unless I import at BIG cost) there are countless universal types available but they're all full size and meant for 18/19" wheels (the Zeph is 17") I've seen a 'short' mudguard for a Z650/900 which looks the perfect style but wasn't sure on width, my forks are 6" apart but I'm sure I could 'adjust' the mudguard mount brackets to suit as they would need extending anyway to fit my fork mounts. Thanks again.
