When i said i have never really played with bikes before its not totally true as i do have a couple of other projects waiting in the wings. This is one that now belongs to my mate Jim I bought it about 10 years back with best intentions but never really started doing anything to it Its last tax disc is 1979 so she has been asleep a while Plan is for my mate to slowly bring her back into rude health ;D Then there is this thing that I adopted. now the plan was to just scrap it and raid it for bits and bobs to fix the other 2 Mate said as its been sitting for 5 years i would never get it going. welded the kickstarter back together, chucked some petrol down the carb and after a couple of goes it kicked into life so its been given a repreive for now ;D I have silly plans for this one, gonna turn it into a 50s style bobber i think

The maxis work rather well like that. did a bit on the chicken chaser last weekend. Its got a rotten arse like they always have, so i cut it short like they did when i were a lad. It will be built from scrap I have kicking about and cheapish cast offs from E Bay. Picked up some nice early sideanels of e bay this week and a trailing arm to replace the rotten one. Im thinking of remounting the lower shock mounts to bring it down a bit on the arse so i can reuse the original shocks. as for the front i will need to see what i have kicking about I have a dead MZ that may give up its front mudguard headlight and handlebars to the cause The bars may end up flipped or i might find some apehangers in the shed and go the other way
