Ah well i have a breaker near me and he has a couple of scrap scooters. I believe one might be a triumph tina? and the other one i am unsure of, i'll have a check for you next time and keep you up to date on it. That would be wicked with that minarelli in it, i expect you'd have to re-gear it, but that would go like stink if set up right. A friend of mine has a RS50 with the minarelli engine and it flies. Best of luck mate How cool would that be if it turns out to be another one ;D. I did a bit of welding this weekend but since I had a welder with those poxy little Argon Co2 bottles I didnt do enough to warrant a picture yet, but what I have done is good solid welding and the bike is still straight ..... so far , i have a bloody long road ahead welding wise so i took time out to do something shiney whist i try and figure where to get a decent sized bottle from. Grips on bars cowl straightened and test fitted Pretty

;D Things ase slowly still happening . lots of research and a bit of spannering/welding/painting here and there. I had a bit of a mess about with paint last weekend and decided i did not like the colour in the end  The shade of blue i picked made it look too..........hmmm B289 (great on a B289 car but not an old scoot) So i have gone a couple of shades darker.......well quite a bit and it dont look so girly now. so anyway after derusting , and hammer /dolly work (no filler has been near it) on the rear tub i decided to hit it with paint. The plan is to have something that look tidy but not prefect as I plan on using the thing to potter about on locally. So bearing this in mind I decided to paint it with Plasticote spray enamel from the local B&Q What do you think? the plan is to have cream detailing. This is the close to original blue i originally went for , put on as a guide coat to see if i had got rid of the dents (this bit looked like the surface of the moon beforehand) The plan was to use this with grey detailing didnt like it :lol; so now its this colour What do you think? the plan is to have cream detailing. still got to do loads of welding on the main frame and do some serious panelbeating on the front mudguard. That is progressing slowly but surely. This is just a cheer me up light at the end of the tunnel job for now

Cream and navy, perfect! also hats off for not putting any filler in it, mad skills yo. Dunno about mad skills, if you look you can see where it was dented, there is ripples in the panel Thing is Im treating the small dings like badges of honour (read im making this up as i go along and couldnt be bothered with the whole sand fill, sand fill thing at this point) There is something satisfying taking something that for want of a better word is Fooked and bringing it back to life Had a bit of a weldathon today Stitched in all the gussets on the underside (totally forgot to photograph then as i was on a roll....you know how it is when you get in the zone ) then i stitched on the outer cover so it solid underneath now. still need to do some work on the legshields and the top seams around the footboards but its getting solid and straight now. The metal is really thin on these things, so i have had to resort to tack over tack welding to stop me blowing big holes in it and warping the whole thing to buggery:lol: anyway end of play today i have something that looks like this
