There are those who say that LinkedIn is useless and those who instead work, build juicy relationships and publish books thanks to this social network. The latter is the case of Andrea Paolucci , Roman insurer, writer, administrator of the book blog Rock'n'read , but above all astute user of LinkedIn . Andrea loves writing and telling stories . Yes, he has the gift of storytelling almost innately - but certainly trained thanks to his passion for reading. So he starts publishing some short stories and tips on LinkedIn, the work social network. His presentation on LinkedIn is a real bomb and his periodic tips are very popular. What happens then? It happens that another great storytelling, up to his latest book.
So, I wanted to interview him to understand what it really DX Leads means to use LinkedIn at its best and talk about storytelling. Andrea Paolucci, insurer, writer and storyteller Hi Andrea, tell us a little about your meeting with Cristiano Carriero and your remote collaboration. Cristiano Carriero is a special person, very focused on himself and has the immediate ability to express himself. My presentation on Linkedin was chosen by the storytelling guru Andrea Fontana for his book 'Stories that enchant', from there, Cristiano began to bring it as an example in his courses. His students contacted me to find out how to write a presentation like this. So I contacted Cristiano to thank him and he was very helpful, kind enough to offer him my storytelling 'tips' .
And in the space of a short phone call he understood how to create a meeting point between his world and mine. And part of my tips became the last chapter of his book, written together with Luca Conti, entitled: " Linkedin - Work, career and new clients" . What is storytelling for you? I read that you advise first of all to speak simply, because it means demonstrating that you have clear ideas. Yet storytelling is a not exactly "straight" way of explaining a concept... The word ' storytelling ' is now a trend, it is used to exploit many nuances of a story. I have been studying stories for more than twenty years, humbly it comes naturally to me to write about them.
