So guys, basically i bought a vespa from a guy at work, I'm not going to boast about the amount i got it for, but perhaps one of you lot could tell me what you'd pay for it? It is a 1972 (tax exempt) Vespa Douglas 125 It has been converted to the more reliable CDI It has a malossi cylinder and head It is in fair nick, little spots of chipped paint, but nothing major Starts and runs, The gear cables need adjusting, Needs new tires for MOT! But yeah, it runs and rides I was thinking of maybe 800 - 1000 pounds? Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm totally new to the whole vespa scene xD Here is the pic Cheers you lot

also how the heck did it get 225 views? only started a few mins ago. know very little about the value of vespa's but if it has lasted since 1972 it's gotta be worth something.

i love vespas had a few i have a t5 in my shed would say get it mot ready polish it up and your looking at between £1200 - £1700 or even more as vespas keep there value due to them being very popular
