This is a project i built for last years rally season [2009] The frame always sat in my mates conservatory for as long as i knew him, many drunken nights would result in 'how cool would it be to just built that and run it like that' but sadly he would never sell it, then he got married ;D as bought: Its a 1979 mk1 p range, it has been off the road in this condition since the late 1980's when it was first 'Cut Down' the plastic parts were a bit harder to age, but my mate with an airbrush helped out mural aswell! the seat and floor boards were my next worry, as a leather seat seemed to new, and a raw hairy cowhide to exspencive, so i just stole the door matts, and the seat is very comfy considering!! having done a fair few 100 miles all over its prob the best seat ive had on a bike! the front forks have been extended by about 6" ;D engine is a standard 200cc vespa unit with a Taffspeed mk4 goldline pipe won best rat at kelso national scooter rally 2009

a bit faster due to less weight, but with that tank full to the brim and the low seat made for some funky handeling, add to that a weekend of camping gear for a few 100 miles every now and again, it was a bit of a pig in the bends, but on the striaghts it was blisss
