sadly i'm referring to having spent almost 10 hours in the garage yesterday to do about an hour's worth of work, and only two photos to show for it: starting with some minor stripping down: notable points: deciding that on the whole, front paddock stands are totally arse and whoever "designed" them really shouldn't be allowed to do any strenuous thinking again.. and the realisation that buying a 3/4inch breaker bar cheap off ebay is a false economy if you don't own any 3/4 drive sockets, or at least a 3/4 - 1/2 reducer all that to do this: new sleeves, bearings and dust seals for all the lower suspension linkages, and the two at the other end of the tie-bars, all packed in with new special grease (it says "Race" on the tin and it's bright red so therefore goes faster *nods*) also fitted new levers while I was at it: much nicer than the dodgy carbon fibre "style" levers I inherited from her last owner although they really do show up how tatty the bar-ends and grips are now.. next job, fix the horn (tempted to replace with a Stebil to be honest) then back for another go at the MOT
