Disk lock , and a chain or something through the back wheel , and if you want to splash out a alarm that can phone your mobile. steering locking too , depending on the bike as some snap very easy.
Hope i helped , thanks.

stopping joy riding scum is easy, just switch the killswitch on and they'll give up before they spot the switch. To stop pro's who just lift you bike up an into a van a gps tracker is the most satisfying, but being locked to the ground works too.

Definaltely put a hidden toggle switch in , or something along those lines. Perhaps one that makes/breaks a wire from the your ignition barrel ( be careful though ).

Almax.
They are the bestest chains ever, just make sure you lock up to something equally as strong. Trackers are sadly not 100% fail proof either, I'll not go into detail on a public forum. To be honest tea leafing scum will get what they are after regaurdless of sequrity if they want it enough.
Stealth is good i.e Use a bike cover, keep it hidden from view. What eye does not see the heart don't desire.

best security? - shotgun - rocking chair - night vision goggles - vantage point - stack of 24pack cans of beer - stack of 24pack cans of red bull plus (very small) notice stating that the owner is armed, drunk, edgy and aiming at you right now. personally at home I use a 5point locking steel framed upvc front door, ever since I worked out that my bike is a foot shorter than my porch
