Very nice, love roundness of the engine casing. Heat is always the answer to all things seized

Very nice looking bike If you heat the bolt up until its red hot then try and loosen it.

Yeah, the blow torch arrived in the post the other day, and I've treated it to a new coil as well - so it's just a question of getting a day off work and doing it. I'm off on Friday, so I should have an update pretty soon - hopefully a good one!

No dude - no rest for the wicked. The world will be thrown into disarray and everyone may die world wide if the televised roulette doesn't make it to air! Had a nice weekend though in wales - went down in the viva with the new Aldon ignition and some fresh plugs - didn't skip a beat!

Yeah, I'll upload some, but I'm on 'the other retro site' as vivaboy, so it's on there as well. It's the grey estate with the slots mags and scallops

Hello again all! - I've been off of here for ages - been pretty busy. Just bought my first house - all on shoe string, up to my neck in debt, got a different job...... Anyway, I'm hard up and and I need to sell the Z. Since the last update here I did a load more tarting up and fiddling and got it through the mot with no advisories. It looks fantastic but it still smokes. I don't know if it just needs to be worn in (It's done about 14 miles since the re build (including a 1mm overbore and new O/S pistons and rings) - but I just dont have the time or space or money to keep messing about with it. I've got a CBR400rr nc23 which I ride into work and the Z is just sitting there. To my shock, the mot is up next month and it's literally done nothing since. The 14 miles on it where from a couple days after the last mot! I'd stick 12 months on it and upload some newer pics but her it is:- It's cost me about 2 grand so far - and I know we don't do these things for money, but it's currently pretty unridable, in heavy traffic at least due to the excessive smoke output (although I haven't fired it up for a year so I'll take it for a spin and let you know how it goes). Becasue of this, it won't get good money - but I'd be gutted if I stuck it on ebay and it got £300. So, before I stick it in the far sale section (granted only a couple up to date pics yet) - how much do you rekon it's worth? I think I may have got a ring the wrong way round maybe? I honestly don't know now - I just know I've put in far to much time and money and now I have other concerns. I'd be glad to answer any questions - and consider any offers! It's had a crap load of new part and work done, but you know, I think I need to cut my losses a bit. Thanks for looking! Oh - I'm Essex. Cheers!
