stumbled across this forum whilst drunk googling something or another. looks grand as it suits what i like; Old motorcycles. my name's Dan, in my 40s, 4 kids, 100 year old house i'm restoring, into old motorcycles and old cars. mostly old motorcycles. my daily driver is a 1967 harley xlh, last owner was a biker who died in the late 70s. bike's got a history of some sort; dude was a 1%'er. i tore it apart and built it as i wanted it... a 70s style skinny bike. it''s magneto fired, kick only, 9:1 compression, 30 over, andrews P cams, andrews trans gears, barnett kevlar wet clutch, buncha more stuff. it's kinda a pussy cat, easy riding, easy starting, barely stops at all (harley drums kinda suck). great fun. Next up is a 1977 yamaha IT250 / YZ250. IT frame and bottom end, YZ top end, big mix of parts. Great fun on the street... hope to get it road registered someday. Finally, my "modern" bike... 1989 GSXR 750. ex track bike, gobs of Yoshimura parts thrown at it (cams, rods, pistons, clutch, ignition, motor covers, pipe/can).

it's a yoshimura race series full system... wish it were a duplex, or at least stainless. the can is the same as on the duplex system, but the header is mild steel.
this one's been a track bike before, been laid down a few times at least. overall it's in decent shape, but could use new paint/decals. i'm keeping it as is, no plans to modify it at all... just maintain it and ride it.
