Hello everyone, I found my way over here from the Mig welding forum, via. Retro Rides, despite my user name the real love of my life has been a 1985 ZX1100A2 which I have owned and lightly modified since 1988. Dropping a camshaft bolt at (well) over the ton needed a full engine rebuild, bored to 1170 new valves / seats and some cams to suit the smooth bore carbs. I ran her like that as my daily ride for a good few years, but then laid her up whilst smaller lighter bikes took turns to live in my garage. I am hoping your collective enthusiam will help me get the old girl re commissioned and back on the road.
Have fun, regards
