Interested in learning more and dabbling in the odd project in the garage so hopefully get to know a few of you and bribe you with beer to come help ;D
anyway i'm 28, work in engineering (use the term loosely - is sit behind a desk all day) and live in norwich

Ah quiet isn't so bad really, least you don't get as many annoyances (i'm sure there are still some though lol)
yeah I saw your cafe 125 that's an amazing piece of work, taken a note of your number will give you a text when i'm closer to getting something = at the moment my garage is empty and I mean empty! spent last year tidying and building a work bench so it's my blank canvas for my first ever project build....an exciting year ahead I hope so would really welcome your advice.....and expertise lol (don't worry I make a cracking cuppa)

welcome, you'll get plenty of virtual help from me if it's any use. What kinda engineering are you working in? civil?

sales lol - I worked on my tools many moons ago and slowly seemed to get dragged into the office, we make subsea control systems for oil and gas production, I manage the eastern european regions so tend to be away in some freezing cold country consulting customers on what we can offer for their project. So the bike really gives me an opertunity to get back to what attracted me to engineering in the first place - getting my hands dirty and building something.

Welcome to the forum gent. Will you be buying a 125 or going straight on for the full license?

i'm going to go for the full license - I was considering getting a 125 for a while to build up some confidence but changed my mind as i'd rather just get a bike i want to stick with.
so got 5 x 2 hour lessons booked so far just got to see how they pan out

Awrite Hudson? Welcome. Once you get a reputation for 'liking bikes', folk will either offer you them or just dump them at your house when you're out! I came home to find a 250 Superdream on my driveway. Took me over a week to find out who left it there then found out the motor was wrecked beyond repair. Bless him, he thought he was doing me a favour! Couldn't wait to get shot of it!!
