Its cable drive, to be fair it had been whirring for a while, probably should have dropped the cable off. I will take it apart and have a fiddle but i bet there's loads of tiny bits in it for me to drop!

fingers crossed it's just a frayed cable and a new needle.

Got a few days holiday to use up, so been fiddling with the bike today...given it a decent clean and changed some bits... Fitted a gsx400 chain guard (only reasonably similar guard I could find) to replace the non-existant one! Another numberplate Shorter mirrors, and bar ends and, not that you can see them, air filters and some guard polishing!

Been out for a spin today but decided it was too cold! Found a replacement badge for the headlight cowling on ebay and fitted that today, also bought some original indicators that should be here soon, so I can find out why none of them work and return them to how they should be at the same time!

awesome, love the noise from a kettle, and you both have suzuki 750's, which is pretty sweet.

Neither of us had owned a Suzuki before...now we've both got one. I reckon the kettle probably wins though.
