No mate its really bugging me...there is another thing I'd like to know too, can I run this bike without a battery? I would much rather remove it from the system as there is nowhere to mount it now, plus it needs replacing..

Not 100% sure I think when Craig built that CD200 bobber (on RR) he intended not to have a battery but opted to have one for the tail light, I'd say it's possible as the engine turning would generate some juice (?)

since the head lights are running off the AC, the bulb will blow without the battery when you rev it up(its act like a capacitor), you don't need a big battery and lithium battery's can be VERY small.
