indicators...if the bike has them they must work,if you strip them off its untestable rear view mirrors ...not a legal requirement if fitted must be in good order mainstand ....again not a legal requirement but a pain in the nipsea when it comes to maintenence ,chain adjustment ,puncture repair ect front mudguard... must have one but can be 1 inch wide by3 inches long yep useless rear mud guard ... no need lights ... must have a rear brake light even if its just registered for day use add what you know and we will have a useful database

I rang local mot station and they said the no indicator law is for bikes built before a certain year...in the 80's I think they said.

Direction indicators are NOT required ona machine registered before 1 August 1986, or not capable of over 30mph.
A rear brake light is NOT reqired providing no other lights are fitted.

I beg to differ, I actually visited the mot station yesterday. If you have a daytime mot, then all lights and switches must be removed APART from rear brake light. Which much stay. But a bike built after 1986 Must have indicators fitted no matter what (unless daytime mot)

Here in N Ireland I don't think you need any light but a rear red reflector is need.
