excellent choice, I've been looking at these myself, 80's engine but proper brakes and tyres! Cheers Fella. TBH what you've said was pretty much what won the arguement for me, much as I wanted a 70's classic (and still do) it's perhaps all to easy to look back through a set of rose tinted and forget just how bad these bikes could be, ie 1970's brakes, suspension and build quality were comical compared to todays bikes. I still remember the saying I was told when I got my brand new RD250 back in the day 'Yamaha - turning motorcyclists into mechanics since 1955' ;D
