Didn't even realise this forum existed until looking through the retro rides car forum
I live in Halifax West Yorkshire and a service engineer by trade
I bought this project from eBay not realising just how rare it is unless you know better
The bike is a Raphael Geminiani moped dating from 1958 - 1960 and I only know the rough date as the engine was only manufactured 58-60
Raphael Geminiani was a stage winner in the tour de france and I think the bikes were probably built under licence
The engine is a ABG VAP Pi2 which is a 48cc 2 stroke with two gears
I will start a thread on the restoration once I sort out how to attach images
