Hi all,
I got the Spacy a year or so ago. I was mesmerised by the pop-up headlight!! The original motor was locking up when using the starter and, after investigation, found the bottom end was b0ll0cksed! I sourced a 150cc motor from a guy in Ireland and fitted it, changed the oil and filled with new coolant. It runs up to temerature fine. The carb was cleaned and refitted although it still has the 98 main jet setting which would maybe need changing to a 100 main jet to suit the 150cc motor. The partly stripped 125 motor is included. A new drive belt is fitted. There is a slight rumble coming from one of the bearings in the rear drive. These can be swapped in situ.
There is two exhausts, one on the bike is for the 125 and the other is for a 150cc. There is also a spare wheel rim as there is a slight wobble on the back rim. Included is a pair of NOS front forks. I didn't need them but at £30, I snapped them up. New battery fitted too. Starts and runs fine,
Bodywise, there was a fair bit of green algae on it so all the panels have been scrubbed clean and have come up quite nice. The footboard trims were very rusty and replacements are hard to come by so they've been repaired with chemical metal until I could get a better set. They need prepped, painted and fitted back on. I got a spare set of clocks as the fuel gauge wasn't working and so was going to swap the gauges, so keeping the original clocks. The seat has been recovered too.
Tyres are old and will need changed. There is quite a few spares like shocks, variators etc.
Importantly, the headlight works fine and has a new relay fitted. All electrics apart from the fuel gauge mentioned above work fine.
Also, I haven't got round to applying for the V5 but the reg plate is on it. The bike came from a local breaker who got it from an elderly chap that parked it up under a tarp in his garden when the motor went sick. I can get the previous owner's details from the breaker if needed.
As found-
In progress-
The rusty footboard sills-
As it stands now-
£400 ono
Cheers
