Afternoon gents, I'm putting our trailer up for sale. My better half thought it would be good for us to have a trailer to use for our camping trips (I agreed at the time), anyway I got this as a frame off a mate a while back & have built it into what you see today. We've since decided that her Civic is more than sufficient for our needs so the trailer is surplus to requirements now.
The dimensions are as follows; L x 4ft, W x 3ft & H x 2ft (well, just shy of 2ft). This trailer is fitted with 12" Minilite style alloys and these have just had (virtually new) tyres fitted. I decided to install a drop tailgate when I built it up, the reason being that it would make lifting heavy stuff into it much easier & I thought if I ever needed to pick a motorbike up with it the drop tailgate would give me a bit more space. This trailer has 2 adjustable legs, one at the front near the tow hitch and one on the N/S at the back. This allows the trailer to be secure when loading or being left stationary rather than bein on the slant when not hitched to a car. The tailgate has a pair of clasps which can have padlocks added if required, 2 warning triangles and a lightboard. Please note that one of the lenses on the lightboard is damaged (still useable), this is a universal lightboard and replacement lenses can be brought from Halfrauds/Motorist Centre etc.....There's alot of extra cable on this lightboard, I've just zip tied the excess underneath so if you need extra cable it's there.
The trailer has wheel arches fitted, the N/S is slightly cracked but is very secure. The wood is a descent thickness and should be ideal for lugging around parts/bikes and the occassional 'tip run'. The wood has been treated with proper exterior woodstain, I haven't coated it with black spraypaint from thee local pound shop so the wood should last for many years (I've added a photo of the woodstain used). Anyway, heres some photo's;
Should be easy to load heavy stuff.
All treated under there as well.
An 'off cut' of the wood that has been used, nice and strong without making the whole trailer too heavy.
This is the stuff the wood has been treated with.
I'm asking £140 as a ballpark figure but happy to listen to offers, any questions just ask away. Cheers.
