I have ended up with lots of leftover parts from from a Gpz600 & Gpz400 (both 1986 models) that were used as donors for another project, many of the parts are interchangable between the 400 & 600 so there are duplicates of some bits. Pics are always good ;D Complete frontend - yokes, forks, clip-ons, calipers, Wheels : 2 front, 1 back (with cush-drive) 600 frame, swinging arm, rear shock, airbox, center stand, footrests, etc. Headlight, tail-light, clocks, indicators, fairings (see pic), tank, seat (usable or recover it), etc. Carbs, radiator, brake cylinders, disks, regulator, fuse box, and the usual "box-o-bits" that you find when you tidy the garage There's also a pair of exhausts (not shown in the pic) off the 400, need cleaning up but still usable. Collection preferred from Bishop Auckland DL14, may be able to post depending on what you want. Cheap prices as the parts are in the way so all daft offers considered, will be on Ebay within a week to make space for the new project

Just a thought - if anyone wants bits, I'll post up a better description of the item so you (and everybody else) has a better idea of the condition All bits are used condition so condition varies, some good, some have minor damage/faults, I'll let you know what I know so you can decide if they're better than yours

We've got... front forks - I think one (top) fork leg is slightly bent, other leg is good, sliders are good no damage or broken lugs. Will need to remove wheel & mudguard but will try not to snap any bolts when I do it. (just checking - you want forks not the whole front end?) all 3 calipers - think they're all here but I'm not sure of condition front brake hose's - you can have what I've got (may also be a rear) center stand - yep ;D clocks - yep, but not tested. Rubber trip reset button is torn (top is missing) otherwise they look fine. brake cylinders - yep, Have got front, think I've also got back ;D the usual "box-o-bits - will have a sort though, it's a mix of wires, bolts, splash guards, "STUFF", not a problem if you're collecting but heavy and bulky to post. I'll try to get a pic... front fairings : top - usable but has damage. part missing at offside rear see pic. Holes for indicators - one is cracked but still solid, other has good fibreglass repair. bottom - usable but has crack and hole below "0" in 600 - see pic. (head) light - glass & reflector are good, top mountings are good, bottom mountings are here but snapped off (looks easy to use bolts with big washers to hold bottom?) 2 things... I'm hoping you're local or can arrange collection as I've no idea about posting big fairings safely or cost. Suggestions welcome, forks + brakes are long + heavy, fairings are bulky but lighter. Would need 2 parcels or a tea-chest Help Price £75 collected? I'm thinking forks, headlight, clocks and brakes are worth cash, so you get fairings + the rest free? PM sent with my number if you want a chat before deciding. cheers, Pete

I'm planning to start advertising the other bits tomorrow, many thanks for the quick work in getting things moving

Cool in the gang bud, best of luck shifting the bits you don't need.

The Ebay clearance sale has helped make some space Tank, carbs, radiator, front brakes & anti-dives and various other bits have now gone. Fairings, wheels, clocks, and most of the other bits you can see in the photo are still up for grabs. GPO info for a guide The petrol tank (in a big box with lots of packing) cost £15 to post. They can take "large parcels" but it depends on size of box, add length + width + height, if total is more than 3 metres it's too big for them. Nothing over 1.5m long. The boxed petrol tank was bigger than they like.
