Had an original KH250 back in the day which was a cracking bike.... 'till the middle pot siezed (as usual) ;D So Nearly bought a 400 before the Zeph', but the guy wouldn't budge on price and I thought it was too much!, but I still fancy a triple for my next project. Good luck.

i think it was only the very very early ones that had trouble with the middle pot, i think they made the mudguard smaller? amongst other things

a friend had one in 78 and i always remember when he first got it, we were all having a look around and found a strange clear plastic cover near the tool kit with 3 rubber tubes at the bottom, lots of wtf is that for, then the realisation it was for carrying a spare set of plugs also on night heading home from college we hit the dual carriageway opened up and when i looked back both lanes were completely smoked out its unfortunate you are not in the somerset area as another friend was/is a triple fanatic, at one stage he had a full set 250, 350, 400, 500, and 750 and for balance he had z1r aswell amazing sound to these when wound up ttfn glenn

finally got the front wheel in after at first having the wrong spacers in the wrong place, this what happens when you dont strip the bike! Also shiny rechromed mudguard and bracket, cleaned up disc. All new bearings etc in wheels and hubs vapour blasted, new rims and stainless spokes, love the shiny bits and the seats back from the upholsterers

Nice work mate ;D I have a 250B4 project too that keeps getting put off by other projects. What's your plans exhaust-wise? Higgspeeds or originals? Keep the pics and info coming. It's good inspiration Ian P.S. If I get anymore projects to do, I'll probably have to offer you my KH as a spares bike ;D

few more parts added, firstly the headlight ears, front indicators and headlight back and then after much faffing about due to not having the correct spacer in the correct place i got the back wheel in and mudguard on and grabrail and this is as she stands at the moment.

exhausts will be stock original ones, im not rechroming as there quite good, but if alls well i will do them next winter/spring ready for next summer as i think it looks very good and they might spoil it. Ad if you decide to sell that B4, give me a shout, i might be interested.!!
